Wyoming State Mission Offering
4 I always thank my God as I remember you in my prayers, 5 because I hear about your love for all his holy people and your faith in the Lord Jesus. 6 I pray that your partnership with us in the faith may be effective in deepening your understanding of every good thing we share for the sake of Christ.7 Your love has given me great joy and encouragement, because you, brother, have refreshed the hearts of the Lord’s people.

Dear Wyoming Southern Baptists,
When Paul writes back to Philemon, he thanks God for the partnership and love that they have for one another. A partnership and love that is rooted in Christ Jesus with the purpose of leading others to greater faith in Jesus. As you well know this passage comes amid a dispute and yet their heart for Jesus, their partnership in the Gospel and their love for one another is greater than their disagreement. We as Wyoming Southern Baptists may not always agree on every issue but we unite in partnership and love for Jesus and for one another to see Wyoming reached with the Gospel.
The Wyoming Southern Baptist Mission Network exists because and for one reason, partnership. We exist because like-minded churches have prioritized the Gospel and believe we better reach Wyoming for Jesus when we work together. We as WSBMN churches are better when we are praying for one another, encouraging one another, sharing resources and uniting around the Gospel. When you give to the State Mission Offering every dollar stays in Wyoming to support local churches and get the Gospel to every community in our state.
In this packet you will find resources for our State Mission Offering. There is a prayer guide that describes some of the ministries this offering supports as well as some opportunities to pray for these specific ministries. There is a poster for you to use to educate, promote and challenge your church to join in this state mission offering. Finally, there are offering envelopes for you to use in promoting this offering if you so choose.
I would ask and encourage your church to prayerfully consider this state-wide ministry emphasis. As you do, please pray for these ministries and your fellow churches as we seek to reach Wyoming with the Gospel. For it is only through the work of the Holy Spirit and the power of God that we as churches and we as a network will accomplish the mission of reaching Wyoming for Jesus. Thank you for all that you do day in and day out for the Kingdom.
